Where did Lindsay and Ryan’s love story begin? On a little place called the internet.

Both decided it was time to try this new concept of online dating. So they filled out their bios and hoped for the best. And I know what you might be thinking. “Their answers were probably completely compatible for this match to lead to a marriage. After all, if you know them, or talk to anyone who does, there could not be a more perfect match. As the cheesy, but often true saying goes, ‘they’re a match made in heaven.’”

But what makes their story so special is this:

After going on some dates, talking for hours on end, and feeling inseparable, they decided to look back at their answers from their online dating profiles. Not only were their answers completely incompatible, but they shouldn’t have been matched at all. So why did they get paired up? Because God knew that they would be perfect for one another. Sometimes the most beautiful things in life make the least bit of sense.

A little over a year later, on August 3rd, 2019, they said, “I Do.” It was a day full of love, laughter, and celebration. The joining together of this “match made in heaven.”

Lindsay and Ryan, I can’t tell you how blessed I am to have been a part of the biggest day of both of your lives. Lindsay, you were so calm and full of joy as you were getting ready. Excited just to enjoy the day and begin your marriage with your one true love. It was such an honor to pray with you before heading over to the ceremony and that is a moment I will treasure for the rest of my life. Ryan, everyone can tell just how much you love Lindsay. As Donna, the Mother of the Bride mentioned a few times, “you look at Lindsay like she’s the best thing in the world.” And it’s true! Getting to capture your reaction to your beautiful bride coming down the aisle was absolutely priceless.
